Hi,

I stumbles across this little nifty shopingsystem http://www.prestashop.com not for enteprises but seems fairly easy with good functionallity out of the box.

I´ve had a quick look at the database structure and to me it seem fairly simular to typolight. But since I´m designer and not a backend developer I don´t even know were to start to make a bridge.

So my question is if anyone is up for taking a look at bridging prestashop with typolight?

I think thes two systems could realy complement eachother since they both share the same idea, lightwieght and with good out-of-the-box functionallity.

Prestashop is a great option, way lighter than the currently favored Magento.
It's young but it has indeed a clean codebase and a vital community.

What kind of integration are you thinking of ? I guess if you mean integrating you don't want to set up a shop on top of TYPOlight with a matching prestashop template (very doable, as it's easily templatable) ?

Do you need login integration or you mean handle prestashop from within typolight ?
I am no coder, I don't know what is doable here... just a few questions.

The way I see it, the best option for a small shop would be to have some kind of TYPOlight extension running on top of catalog/catalog ext, extending it's feature to payment, shipment... etc.

Edit : seems like there is a Shop extension in the works : cf http://typolight.org/forum/topic/8881.html
